Filaments

Filaments is a single-movement work in three large sections for Pierrot ensemble.  The outer sections largely derive their pitch material from symmetrical scales while the middle section moves into a contrasting harmonic language.  The work was premiered by students from Florida State University under the direction of David Asher Brown.
